How to get out of the muck?
Britt has a limited availability practice that focuses primarily on children, teens, and assisting parents. Most referrals are word of mouth but shoot her a text and see how it goes. Britt believes the most powerful indicator of a working counseling relationship is the sense of connection, in other words, the all magical “match”. She encourages clients to shop around and find the right match. If you want to connect for this service things to know:
Britt takes cash or check and doesn’t bill insurance, she can provide a “super-bill” for you to give to your insurance company.
Because her practice is limited the available times may not work for your schedule.
Testimonial (confidential of course!)
“Britt’s naturally disarming presence put our daughter at ease, enabling her to truly be herself and feel deeply seen. Britt is incredibly relatable and hasn't forgotten what it's actually like to navigate the teenage years. This made all the difference in their connection! She has been such a gift to our family and I truly don’t know how we would have survived these past few years without her knowledge and guidance.”
Counselor Supervision services are on offer. Are you post graduation and looking for supervision toward licensure? Interested? Britt is open to supervising those who work in modalities outside of her own, however, if you are looking to align she is trained in and regularly practices the following: DBT for children, DBT for adolescents, DBT, Radically open DBT, Expressive Arts Therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing, Gestalt, Play therapy, EMDR, solution focused therapy, and more. Underlying all formal training is a consciousness based philosophy toward being a human. To inquire send email or text: britt.humphrey@gmail.com or 208-405-5312
“I am so thankful for having Britt as my clinical supervisor.
